Discipline Boot Camp
The drill and practice all administrators need to complete to discipline students effectively under the IDEA. Invite principals, assistant principals, 504 coordinators, nurses, and superintendents (all staff are appropriate for this training). Some topics covered during this Boot Camp include: historical review of 17 Rules of Discipline for Students with Disabilities, and answers to questions such as how those rules apply to in-school suspension, bus suspension, general education students not yet identified, and students who commit crimes and exhibit other dangerous behaviors.View Event |
