LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY

Championing Equity and Excellence in Special Education

At CASE, advocacy isn’t just a responsibility—it’s a mission to transform the educational landscape for students with disabilities and the leaders who serve them. With a steadfast commitment to equity and inclusion, CASE stands as a unified voice for special education leaders, shaping policies and practices that make a lasting difference.
  • Driving Systemic Change: Through regular engagement with federal agencies and legislators, CASE ensures that the voices of special education leaders are heard and that decisions prioritize the needs of students with disabilities.
  • Inspiring Grassroots Advocacy: CASE empowers its subdivisions to take action, equipping them with tools, resources, and inspiration to advocate effectively at local, state, and national levels. Together, we build a united front for meaningful change.
  • Forging Transformative Partnerships: Collaboration is at the heart of CASE’s advocacy efforts. By cultivating alliances with national organizations, policymakers, and stakeholders, CASE amplifies its reach and ensures that every initiative is grounded in expertise, compassion, and shared purpose.
  • Leading with Purpose: Advocacy at CASE isn’t just about influencing policy; it’s about creating a brighter future where every student with disabilities has the opportunity to thrive, and every leader in special education is equipped to guide them toward success.
Join us in this mission to prepare, organize, and inspire the next generation of advocates for special education. Together, we are reshaping the narrative—one policy, one partnership, one student at a time.
